Polat Energy has officially commissioned its 180 MW solar power plant in Konya, marking the largest single solar investment in the company's history. The facility, built on 280 hectares, will generate enough clean electricity to power more than 90,000 households annually.
The project was completed in 14 months, ahead of schedule, with group companies handling engineering and site logistics — a demonstration of the synergy across Polat Group sectors.
"This plant is a milestone on our path to 2 GW of installed renewable capacity by 2030," said the General Manager of Polat Energy. "Konya's solar resource is world-class, and we are proud to turn it into long-term value for our investors and the community."
